Where were you as a trader before joining?
I had already been through a few different mentorships, but I had never experienced a mentor so genuinely passionate about seeing his students win. Liam is always available whenever we need him, despite the time difference. He'll even jump on a random Zoom call just to point out where we're struggling, and we have calls over and over again to make sure everyone understands the framework and is doing things the right way. Liam leaves no room for confusion.
What's the biggest change in how you trade and think?
It eliminated so much of the anxiety and uncertainty I used to have looking at the charts. We have a clear, specific blueprint, and if we don't see a trade that fits within it, we simply don't take the trade. Before, I could spend all day on the charts looking for a setup only to take a loss. Now we have specific trading windows, and I've learned that time is more important than price. You can be completely right about your bias, but take the trade at the wrong time and it can still lose. I don't need to force trades. I just follow the framework and let the market come to me.
What's helped the most?
Honestly, all of it. I used to hate backtesting, but now I love it, because I'm not doing a dozen different things and drawing lines all over the chart only to end up confused. The community is one of the best parts too. It's a place where traders genuinely grow, not just technically but mentally. We share jokes, share trades and point out each other's mistakes without judgment. There's no toxicity, just genuine support.
What would you say to someone thinking about joining?
Come with an open mind and be prepared to put in the work. You're not given a bunch of strategies and left to figure it out on your own. You're given a clear framework, a community that supports you and a mentor who genuinely cares about your development. I went from spending hours looking for trades and constantly questioning myself to having a structured process that tells me exactly what I'm looking for and, just as importantly, when to walk away and take no trade.
